Hello, we are Café de Ceuvel! We want to make a difference in the world, and that starts on your plate. That is why we are looking for what is really good food and drink. That goes beyond a label that says 'organic'. For example, we make our own soft drink with the organic syrups from Saru Soda, our coffee from KAAPKOFFIE is transported by sailing ship and we cook completely vegan & gas-free.

Café Jakarta Amsterdam serves Indonesian-inspired dishes. Western ingredients with Eastern spices and flavors. There is also traditional Indonesian cooking and we have Western dishes on the menu. In addition, our seafood bar offers fresh seafood every day. On our spacious terrace facing south on the water you have a beautiful view over the IJ and Amsterdam.

For ten years, On the Roof has been home to the colorful, diverse music scene of Amsterdam and special guests from abroad. Artists you may know or would like to discover, are exploring and sometimes crossing the borders of jazz, global sounds and improvised music in authentic performances. What started as a somewhat crazy idea born out of passion has become a faithful summer rendezvous to discover new music, hear your favorite artists, enjoy the beautiful sunset and meet with friends.
